Community Connections Public Awareness Campaign
AmericanWest is a community bank and for us that means stepping up as an integral part of the community and partnering with others to make a valuable impact. One of the ways we demonstrate our commitment is through our Community Connections campaign in partnership with KNDO and KNDU TV in South Central and Eastern Washington. Each year we select one organization for each month and we pay to air a :30 commercial a minimum of 200 times during that month. Each commercial provides a platform for the charity to educate the community about their mission, upcoming fundraising efforts, or other important topics. Since the program began we’ve contributed more than $240,000 to local causes.

The 2013 recipients are listed below, selected from more than 100 applicants. Again this year, the caliber of applicants was impressive. We are humbled by the tremendous efforts of organizations who positively impact the quality of life in these communities where we all live and work. It is our pleasure to underwrite the advertising efforts of these 22 organizations in 2013:
