Next KHQ Free Shred Day Set for May 18, 2011

Shredding documents you no longer need is a great way to protect yourself from Identity Theft while being kind to the environment. So now is a great time for a little spring cleaning and gather up the personal documents you no longer need and bring them to our next community shred day in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene. Not sure what to shred and what to keep? See Attorney General’s list of recommendations.

Bring your materials to us and we’ll shred it right on-site with the assistance of DB Secure Shred and KHQ. This always-popular event is free and open to the community. Stop by any of these AmericanWest Bank locations on May 18, 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.:
  • Downtown Spokane Financial Center, 41 W. Riverside;
  • Northpointe Financial Center, 9506 N. Newport Hwy; or
  • Coeur d’Alene Financial Center (223 Ironwood Drive just off Exit 12 of I-90).
At our Shred Day in November we shredded more than 150,000 pounds of paper—that’s equivalent to 17 adult elephants! Bring us your paper and let’s see what we can do this time! Ask us for more details or watch KHQ TV and KHQ.com.
